In particular, I have collected a lot of Philip K. Dick and Kurt Vonnegut I might not have read otherwise. What really irks me is being charged $10 for an ebook that has been scanned and not proofread. The example I am thinking of is not a Kindle book, but a Google ebook not available for the Kindle, and which I had to read on my smartphone. The book, "An Age of Tyrants," is a scholarly book about 5th and 6th-century Britain from which all maps and plates have been stripped, all superscripted end note numbers have been converted to quotation marks, rendering them useless, all Greek words have been converted to nonsensical Latin characters, most concluding parenthetical characters have been converted to "1"s or "l"s, etc., etc., etc. In other words, it's a complete hack job. It makes my blood boil.cholsthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11684540638823233715noreply@blogger.com
