Page Numbers for Kindle Books an Imperfect Solution, article.
Personally, I never really understood the complaints about the lack of page numbers in Kindle books. They make no sense since the number of "pages" changes with text size. You might as well complain about lack of page numbers in an audiobook.
eReaderJoy: thoughts and news from Eolake Stobblehouse about the wonderful new platform of tablets and e-reading devices. Some say, one of the biggest advances to reading since Gutenberg (Okay, I said that).

iPhone keyboard
Considering its size, the iPhone 4 is surprisingly usable as an ereader. Surely due to the superior screen.
It's still hard to type on though, especially for people like me, with hands which, though graceful, are the size of small dogs. But I like EasyTyping for a bigger keyboard.

HP TouchPad
HP has introduced their iPad competitor, the TouchPad. It looks promising, and finally another tablet with a good screen size.
Ooh, there's a rumor that the iPad two will have a built-in stand. That would be good. The money I have used on stands, trying to find something practical just to get the iPad to sit on a table, my gawd. That should not be an issue.

Solar powered iPad case
Thanks to Laurie for pointing to this Solar powered battery iPad case.
I think the price is remarkably reasonable considering it's real leather and it has solar power technology.
It can charge from sunlight, ambient light, or be plugged in to charge. It can then charge an iPad or a phone or other devices via a USB plug.
