eReaderJoy: thoughts and news from Eolake Stobblehouse about the wonderful new platform of tablets and e-reading devices. Some say, one of the biggest advances to reading since Gutenberg (Okay, I said that).
In e-form, books have never been wider, cheaper or faster available, easier to understand, use, and carry, or more comfortable to read.

You have two options:
1. Use a virtual assistant transcribing service. It has even better recognition than Siri! Danish accent is not a problem.
2. Change your accent. It's not that difficult. Actors do it all the time. Even I, a non-native speaker living in a non-english speaking country, am able to switch between UK and US accents, and even have a go at Cockney and Scottish accents after a little practice. It can be quite fun too.
Well, Arnold never could do it, and I'm not sure I'm better than him.
This "virtual assistant transcribing service", it seems that is with a human being, so not actually "virtual", yes? (I hadn't thought of that, thanks. Not handy for every little email, but could be useful for longer things.)
Arnold doesn't have to, he already has the right accent. ;-)
Read about the difference between Virtual assistant and Automated online assistant.
For transcribing assistance specifically, I'm sure there are highly optimized services operating out of India, Philippines, and other places.
Yes, probably not worth the trouble for short emails. But useful for articles, essays and anything longer.
I hadn't thought of that
I did mention this to you on May 26th, 2011, in our discussion about portable voice recorders.
