Bags for small machines

I made a video about fitting the iPad and the new 11-inch MacBook Air into bags from Waterfield.

MacBook Air 11-inch in Waterfield bags from Eolake Stobblehouse on Vimeo.
It fits in the Waterfield (SFbags.com) iPad Wallet, and in the 10-inch Muzetto bag, even with the thickest sleeve case.
This video was made when staff at Waterfield Design asked for a photo of how the 11-incher could fit into the iPad Wallet and Muzetto. I thought a video would give a better feel for it.

They are wonderful bags, by the way, best "look and feel" I ever bought.
Same goes for the 11-inch Airbook: *Nothing* slow about it, full sized keeboard, high-rez screen, but only weighs one kilo. This is a portable like portables should always have been made.

Update:
In the Muzetto 10-inch bag, I can fit an iPad, the 11-inch Airbook in the "heavy duty" Sleeve, *and* an Apple Wireless Keyboard, all at the same time (plus a few small/thin items)!
In the iPad Wallet bag, I can fit the same, only without the big sleeve.

Darn it! I was hoping and waiting for you to stick the 'pad into the front pocket of that last bag to see if BOTH could fit in there. I wonder if it could still fit in there w/that other cover that you have on the 'Air.'

It didn't occur to me. But OK, I tested, update to post:

Cool, thanks! Very nice bags, alright! :-)

They *feel* good too. Even just the nylon bits are thicker and softer than what's normally used. (Prob stronger too.)

Nice! Should last through many revs of 'pads, I'll bet! ;-) (uh and they're made in San Francisco, as well! Neato! Dang! Just saw the price! Well...it otter stay together, nicely...for that price! ;-)

Yeah, admittedly it's a premium product.

But then it's hard to imagine how you'd wear one down.

Was trying to see if that was leather or just vinyl on those? I couldn't see anything about it on the site (could just be because I'm tired!). It looks like vinyl (and I know you mentioned that there were "vinyl bits.") Just read <a href="http://bit.ly/bfdezC>this</a>.

Lookit this: "All Muzettos temporarily SOLD OUT. Orders are prioritized on a first come, first served basis. Now taking pre-orders for an early December production run. Order now to reserve your place in line."

LUCKY YOU that you already got yerself yer Christmas presents! ;-)

Yes, the Muzetto seems to be very popular. They were also sold out when I ordered, but because I'm an especially treasured customer (I imagine), I was told about the black-leather version, which is not on the site. Lucky, because I normally prefer black to brown.
Muzetto is maybe 60% leather, whereas most of their bags just tend to have a bit of trim in leather.

I'm still not sure of their choice of no closing mechanism on the Muzetto. But maybe I'll get used to it, because I do admit it would not have the same "feel" if it had one. For some reason it would seem more utilitarian and less special, not sure why.

And it *is* special for some reason. I hug it in bed at night. ;-)

Funny...I am usually the opposite! It's "the dirt" thing: it seems (to me, anyway) that black always seems to show dirt more obviously than brown; and...to me, brown always seems to be a "natural" neutral color that, seems to go better w/most things. :-) It used to pee my mom off 'cuz I would get mostly brown-colored shoes. :-D

Yes...I "get" BOTH of your points. I would be a little bothered about there not being a closing mechanism, myself. I think they could have included a plastic buckle or something like it on the inside.

"And it *is* special for some reason. I hug it in bed at night. ;-)"

You're FUNNY; BUT...I also "get" that, as well: I bought a leather purse, sometime ago, and...I'm not really a purse...person, but...for some odd reason, I "fell" completely "in love" w/this bag! lol! I used it for awhile and wanted to minimize so...it, now, lays next to me on my bed and I STILL REALLY LIKE it; I just don't want to schlepp it around, even though it's a "cross-over" handbag, I guess they're called. First time I invest in a really decent leather purse (Dare ya to go there & check out the men's bags! ;-) and...now it sits unused but I don't think that I could bear to part w/it I like it that much! lol!
