A nice case

Blackbox has some very nice wooden cases for various machines, like this one for iPad 2.
They are not cheap, or light, but damn, they look good (and protect well).

Wow, here are some more amazing wooden accessories:
The iPad 2 Miniot cover. (It only weighs 100 grams, impressive.)

And the Grove case. Wow!

I'm almost sorry I already bought the dang Apple smart cover, these are so beautiful.
But then Grove also makes this beautiful iPad2 back skin, which should work very well in combo with the Apple SmartCover:

And see this beautiful iPhone 4 cases!

iPad Blamed for Decline in Samsung Profits

iPad Blamed for Decline in Samsung Profits, article.
Samsung is warning that its profits for the first quarter of 2011 will be substantially lower compared to previous quarters, and analysts are blaming the drop on Apple and its popular iPad multimedia tablet.

Dang, it's hard being anybody but Apple at the moment, innit!? The past decade and Apple has to be one of the most unbelievable business expansions in business history, it's just ridiculous, especially since the global credit bust has not made a dent in their expansion.
They make the iPod, and define the music player market. They make the iPhone and redefine the mobile phone market. They make the iPad and create the tablet market. It's insane.

"Content farms" on the web or now in ebooks is apparently people who quickly (like in two hours for a book) scrape together "content" of low quality, plagiarized or simply stolen, and publish it widely to get search engine hits and therefore sales. This could be a big problem because it could, if not successfully checked, make legitimately researched and written books hard to find in all the worthless dreck.
One man, "Manuel Ortiz Braschi", has published over 3,000 books on Kindle on all kinds of subjects. Is he a screaming genius or?...

"Readers' Hub"

The Galaxy Tab machines (three sizes coming) has a thing called "Readers' Hub", which I like, especially since it doesn't seem to be as country-confined as for example the Nook store.
