Page Numbers for Kindle Books an Imperfect Solution, article.

Personally, I never really understood the complaints about the lack of page numbers in Kindle books. They make no sense since the number of "pages" changes with text size. You might as well complain about lack of page numbers in an audiobook.

Good point! It seems that they would, perhaps, be a good way to locate a reference, sometimes, when trying to find, say, a paragraph or something; but, also, old habits are difficult to put aside, often times. :-(

And, again, it would be nice to be able to locate a certain section of a book in some easier (and quicker) way than having to scan through sections trying to locate something you want to revisit! :-(

The point is school use. Page refs are helpful when giving assignments, please read the first paragraph on page xx etc
