Wingstand

Wingstand, most compact stand for iPhone/iPad yet. (It should work even without keyboard!)

This is my idea of a travel typewriter:

Oh my! I'm trying not to be distracted by the cup 'o Joe, next to the keyboard...unless it's a rollup?! (turbulence and upfront passengers, ya know?!) :-/

Yeah, that does seem quite... confident.

But oddly it seems that the people who don't worry about such things, don't get the problems from them either!

What's a "rollup"? if you mean the keyboard, it's an Apple Wireless keyboard. I have one. It's a gorgeous thing. Very small and compact, despite apparently having been made as a regular desktop kb, not a travel one. It goes great with an iPad, barely longer than one.

Rollup... rubber keyboard? No, it's make in one piece of aluminium, like their new laptops. Beautiful engineering.

I know. It's always odd to me that peeps who don't seem to "think" much but, seemingly, "fumble" through life seem to do just fine and...the minute that I would think of something like this example happening, I'm already too late to catch my cup from falling! :-/ (hate when that happens!)

"Rollup... rubber keyboard?"

Yup! Fricken cool! Found one for a whopping $17! I'd like one of those! They'd probably be really quiet and...I would love the fact that they would be flat on the surface; not to mention being able to just roll it up, when you're done and throw it in a backpack, while traveling. :-D

I think our emotional energy is like tendrils out into the universe. When they're soft and relaxed, all works fine. If they get tense and spikey...

The rubber keyboards sound cool, and I've considered them briefly. But I wonder how good they are for real typing. If you get it, tell us.

Interesting. I'll try remembering that. Kinda like what happens when you meet up w/a porcupine, if they're a little...uptight! :-)

"The rubber keyboards sound cool,"

Yeah. I think it's much like the keypad on calculators, these days.

"...and I've considered them briefly. But I wonder how good they are for real typing.

Quiet, accurate, easy on the "finders," (hm...wonder how an author would have to write this silly made-up word to get across that it is "fingers" and not...um..."finders" (keepers, losers, weepers! lol!), skid proof... (are you sold, yet?! ;-)

"If you get it, tell us."

I'd be happier if you would just hop across the street and get one and tell me! :-D (I have no need for one, right now, see. :-) Unless you would like me to go get one; try it and then send it your way. :-)

I've asked around about the rubber keyboards, and many people say they are rubbish, with no tactile feedback. Some like them though, mostly for being quiet.

Funny...like an on-screen touch keyboard on a Pad or tablet ever stopped anyone! lol! ;-)

I was thinking, however, that, since the onslaught of touch screens, anything that has to be pressed "with intention" is probably more of a bother than most want to deal with, anymore; hence, the "put down" of such a keyboard! Personally, I'm sick to death of crappy hard plastic keys, meself! :-/ How's about a keyboard that is just slightly raised off of the surface, w/rubberized, individual "keys" that are pressure sensitive to just a certain light touch (much like the touch screen, of course) but...raised enough to allow a person's correct placement of fingers (like on a regular [boring] "old" laptop keyboard [sigh]).
